E2 Development is a licensed general contracting and construction management company based in South Carolina. We are licensed in South Carolina and North Carolina. Founded by a United States Marine Corps veteran, the company is certified as a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) by the Small Business Administration (SBA). E2 Development focuses on delivering high-quality construction and design services to local, state, and federal clients. The company offers a range of services, including general contracting, construction management, design, scheduling, change order management, and financial and contract management.

CORY ESTEP

OWNER/OPERATOR

Mr. Estep has over 20 years of experience in the building industry.  He has worked on and managed projects in design and construction in the United States and internationally.  As a seasoned Manager he is always looking for ways to drive the deployment, execution and efficacy of projects.  He offers years of experience in the building industry that range from scheduling (design and construction activities), cost estimating, responding to proposals to construction documentation/administration, drawing review and sustainable analysis in renovations and new construction projects.    

Mr. Estep started E2 Development in the Fall of 2022.  Since then E2 Development has been committed to building relationships, finding solutions to complex work, and completing projects throughout Charleston SC.  Mr. Estep fosters a workplace that emphasizes a team-oriented environment where qualities of integrity, hard-work, flexibility, and solution-oriented approaches can be applied to the benefit of our clients.

RON REVIA

VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS

Ron began his construction career in the late 1990s as a licensed contractor in Alabama. Before joining the E2 team, he gained extensive experience as a Project Manager specializing in healthcare and multifamily construction, as well as a Business Developer in the South Carolina market. Over the past two decades, Ron has held diverse roles across multiple facets of the construction industry, including working for general contractors, building material suppliers, and manufacturers.

A well-known figure in the building science community, Ron has delivered presentations at numerous construction conferences across the Southeastern United States. He has also led over 100 face-to-face continuing education courses for architects, engineers, and facilities management professionals. His expertise extends to specialized training in the construction and maintenance of shielded enclosures and managing construction projects in active hospitals and medical office buildings.

EDDIE HUGHES

GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT

Eddie is a Charleston-area native and a proud U.S. Navy veteran with 10 years of military service. With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge from working across industrial, medical, commercial, residential, and pre-engineered building sectors. Throughout his career, Eddie has served as a Project Manager, Superintendent, and Owner’s Representative, giving him a well-rounded perspective on every phase of construction.

His project experience spans ground-up construction, build outs, and renovations in both government and private sectors. Eddie’s work has taken him to 43 states, 2 U.S. territories, and even North Africa-each project adding to his depth of expertise.

At E2 Development, Eddie serves as General Superintendent, where he leads with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. He is passionate about mentoring his team, sharing lessons learned throughout his career, and staying on top of industry advancements to continue growing alongside the evolving construction landscape.

CHRIS SCHULTZ

PRE-CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

A native of Atlanta, GA, Chris began his career in the construction industry in 2003 and has since gained extensive knowledge and experience as a Project Manager and Estimator in the multi-family residential, commercial and government sectors. Chris has a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects ranging from small renovations to multimillion dollar new construction projects. 

As Preconstruction Manager with E2, Chris brings a comprehensive understanding of the full project lifecycle, from project design development to project completion and closeout. Chris leads the company’s preconstruction efforts including estimating, purchasing and scheduling prior to the project breaking ground and serves as a resource for the duration of the project. Chris prides himself on fostering collaborative relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners to ensure successful project outcomes. 


TARA VERONEE

CONTROLLER

Tara is a native Charlestonian with over 35 years of experience in accounting, including more than 20 years in construction accounting. The majority of her career has been focused in the construction and not-for-profit sectors. She brings extensive knowledge of the construction industry, having worked in custom residential and commercial projects, as well as with both large and small subcontractors. Tara also operated her own practice, providing her with a well-rounded perspective on the financial and operational needs of construction businesses.

Tara’s depth of experience allows her to support projects with accuracy, insight, and consistency. She is committed to providing reliable financial management and contributing to a collaborative, solution-oriented environment that supports both the team and E2 Development’s clients. Outside of work, Tara enjoys spending time with family and friends and is an avid college football fan, proudly supporting the Clemson Tigers.

ERIN ESTEP, AIA, LEED-AP

DESIGN MANAGER

As a Registered Architect, Designer, and Project Manager Mrs. Estep has been able to hone a skillset that ranges from client and team management, and technical architectural skills.  Her work focuses on growth and high design. Those aspects make her work detail-oriented, and she provides an efficient work ethic.  These qualities have enabled her to deliver successful designs, and it has brought her repeat clients.

The Design Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the various design and engineering aspects during any project.  She is the focal point of corralling the design efforts of engineers and architects, and she is responsible for meeting deadlines related to design iterations established in the project schedule.  She will participate in all design meetings and prepare the documents for submission to the client.  Once design is complete, the Design Project Manager will stay involved in Construction Administration with regularly scheduled site visits to track work progress.
